M1A1 Carbine (Para), M1 Carbine, M1903 Springfield, BAR, M1 Garand, M1 Thompson, M3A1 'Grease Gun', 2 revolvers*, Colt 1911.

Also, I saw the .30 round the Carbine uses, which is tiny! No wonder it got mixed reviews amongst those who used it. There were many reports of cases where even multiple shots failed to stop an enemy.

* - unsure, feel free to identify. they have a Smith&Wesson look about them, to me, though my gun knowledges' weakness is revolvers.

The revolvers are probably a .45(one on top) and a .357 magnum(one on bottom).

Wait.. Are you sure they would put a Kar98 with american weapons? Are you sure it isn't a Springfield rifle?

Yeah that'd make sense, it's more likely a Springfield. My excuse is that it was late when I put these up :P

I suppose i'm so used to only really seeing Springfields scoped.

Yeah it seemed a bit odd, but looked K98-ish enough for me to think 'meh, K98' and type it as one. Was on a crazy uploading spree at like 3am so you can imagine I wasnt putting that much thought into it. Thanks for spotting it though :]

And as for your other comment, all my WW2 related photos are from a week in France, there's loads of WW2 related museums around Normandy and the surrounding area. My album for that trip is here: [link] if you've got a sec and feel like having a look.

That's fascinating :O especially the Glider, i don't know how you managed to get a look inside it, or how it's even in one piece due to rot, and the fact that Gliders didn't often land safely.

It must've been a replica I think. There was openings on either side with a little ramp so people could walk through and see the insides, which was pretty cool to see.
